Hi all,

Realistically everyone now should be playing Round VI, we are aware of a few clans that are proving hard to get a hold of and we are in contact with them.

If you cannot find your opponents then please let us know via IRC.

REMEMBER YOU SHOULD BE IDLE IN #HoQLeagues TO ARRANGE YOUR GAMES!!

PLAYOFFS: -
We shall be running 2 x playoff trees, 1 lower and 1 higher tier. The higher tier shall consist of 4 clans from Div 1 and 4 clans from Div 2. The lower tier shall be the same only Divs 3 & 4.

Unfortunately SteelSeries have kindly decided to ignore any emails (Leaving us to pay for Season 1 prizes out of our own pockets) so are no longer sponsors of House of Quake and we are currently seeking a new sponsor (one that keeps their word).

All teams should have at least the leader of the team idle in #HoQLeagues.

Each team picks 1 map each, and if a 3rd is needed then elimination until 1 map left. Team with the most rounds eliminates first.

Once your match is finished please use the link on the user menu on the right to submit your match links from QL. It's up to the winner to submit the result.

Remember, 2 default losses and your out so reschedule with opponent if you cannot make the date. Dates and times will be the same every week for each division.

Games can be played early if agreed by both teams.

Also prizes will be announced soon, just awaiting confirmation from SteelSeries.

GRAND FINALS + SEASON 2

The semi finals are upon us!

On Thursday night this week (8th July) we shall see the semi finals played, and then afterwards the Grand Final!

Semi Finals:
20:00 CEST - meK^ vs PBJ
21:00 CEST - skzi vs +fwd

Grand Final:
22:00 CEST


The semi finals shall be played as normal, best of 3 and the Grand Final shall be played best of 5.

There will of course be a live stream from HoQ-TV and we are hoping for a lvl^ www.levelupyourgame.net stream aswell.


SEASON 2 - SIGNUPS OPEN
Season 2 is now open for sign ups! We have learnt from our mistakes and season 2 shall be run differently to the 1st season and with strict rules.

Once your team is signed up, you must then also /msg HowHard in the irc channel #HoQLeagues confirming your team signup.

ALSO you MUST have at LEAST 3 players assigned to your team on the site.

Failure to do 1 of those things and your signup will be ignored and you will not be included in the league.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE think before you signup, I do not want any "its the summer" excuses. Games will be forced week by week, 2 defaults and you're OUT of the league and will not be allowed to join in Season 3.

ROUND I + ROUND II

Hi Guys,

Round I of the playoffs has been extended, I have made contact with all teams and the remaining matches will be played soon.

As soon as a round II match can be put in the schedule I will add it, you can play it as soon as you like.

All is good, only team struggled to field a team was KSC who have now been swapped with team nps who was next in line.

Round II will be forced next Monday.

As for Season 2, due to the summer and lack of active teams I've decided that over the summer I shall run a 2v2 Ladder over the summer (with prizes of course) and then Season 2 of the league shall start towards the start of autumn/winter. More news closer to the end of the Playoffs.

PLAYOFFS ROUND I

Ok guys the playoff brackets are up, games are best of 3 till the semi finals and final which are best of 5.

Each team picks a map each, if a 3rd map required then each team eliminates a map till only 1 map left, team with most rounds eliminates first.

Match times are forced for Wednesday & Thursday night, click your match to see when it's for. Times are in CET, you can reschedule your match with the opponent but matches must be played by Monday morning and results sent in.

An admin does not need to be present in game, until the semi finals and final.
